Mike Moore--Path toward advanced 3b juggling: fundamentals

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Skill Level: Intermediate

Description:  The workshop will focus on:

1) Optimizing catch sites to allow for faster rethrows

2) Finding the hidden time in "fast" 3b patterns (and some perceptual time dilation)

We will go through several patterns that I've found particularly benefit from changes in focal points/dwell times.  We will also practice precise catch sites, first with trivial patterns (e.g. ss: 1) and then with more advanced patterns.

By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:

1 - Catch and throw from an optimal location in their hand.

2 - Identify parts of difficult patterns that can be slowed down.

3 - Use slowed parts of patterns to make small adjustments to a pattern.
